A case has been filed against villain actor Monowar Hossain Dipjol on charges of attempted murder. The matter was confirmed by the plaintiff’s lawyer, Kaiyum Hossain Nayon. On Thursday, November 13, Rashida Akter’s husband Abdul Majid filed the case at the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate M Mizbah Ur Rahman. The court recorded the plaintiff’s statement and ordered the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) to investigate the allegation. Earlier, on July 8, Rashida Akter had filed a case with Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mahbub Alam’s court over allegations of acid attack and assault. It was alleged that she and her husband were threatened to withdraw that case, warning that her husband would be beaten, stuffed into a sack, and thrown into the Buriganga River.
