Attempted murder case filed against Chinmoy in Ctg

An attempted murder case has been filed in a Chattogram court against Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari, spokesperson of Bangladesh Sammilita Sanatani Jagran Jote. A businessman named Enamul Haque filed the case. On Sunday, at around 12 noon, Enamul Haque filed the case in the court of Chattogram Metropolitan Magistrate Md. Abu Bakar Siddique.

The names of 164 people, including Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari, have been mentioned in the case. At least 400 to 500 people have been made unidentified accused. The court has accepted the case and is awaiting its order.

Plaintiff Enamul Haque said, "I came to the court premises on November 26 for personal work. At that time, during a clash between ISKCON and Chinmoy followers with the police, ISKCON followers called me "Molla Molla" and attacked me with the intention of killing me. Chinmoy has been made the main accused as the mastermind of this incident.’ Plaintiff Enamul Haque said that the case was delayed because he was undergoing treatment in the hospital for so long.

Advocate Shamsul Alam, the plaintiff’s lawyer, said that the court accepted the case as a case after hearing the application. The case has been kept pending for an order.
