Awami League not be allowed to hold any programme: Press Secretary
Referring Awami League as a fascist party, Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam has warned that the party will not be allowed to organise any programme.
If they try, he continued, their programme will be tackled with full force by law enforcement agencies.
He said this in a post on his verified Facebook account at on Saturday (November 9) noon.
Shafiqul Alam said the current Awami League is a fascist party. There is no scope that this fascist party will hold meetings or even bring out any kind of procession in Bangladesh.
He said, “If anyone tries to hold a meeting or bring out a procession under the orders of mass murderer and dictator Sheikh Hasina, the law and order forces will deal with it strictly.”
Shafiqul Alam also warned that the interim government will not tolerate any violence or attempt to deteriorate the law and order situation of the country.
Mentionable, on the occasion of Martyr Nur Hossain Day, Awami League will bring out a protest procession under the tile of ‘March to Zero Point’, at 3:00 pm on Sunday. The leaders and activists of Awami League have been instructed to prepare for this protest programme through a post on the party’s verified Facebook page.
