Badsha files nomination for seat vacated by PM
District BNP President Rezaul Karim Badsha has filed his nomination form as a candidate for the post of Member of Parliament in the by-election to the Bogra-6 (Sadar) seat vacated by Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman. He is a former mayor of Bogura Municipality.
He filed his nomination form from the office of District Senior Election Officer Md. Fazlul Karim at around 3pm on Friday (February 27).
BNP Central Executive Committee member Saiful Islam, Ali Azgar Talukder Hena, Joynal Abedin Chan, BNP leader Fazlul Bari Talukder Belal, District BNP Vice President Maftun Ahmed Khan Rubel, Joint General Secretary Sheikh Taha Uddin Nain, Organizing Secretary Shahid Un-Nabi Salam and many others were present at the time.
Earlier, Rezaul Karim Badsha was nominated as the BNP candidate for the Bogura-6 constituency on Thursday. The nomination letter signed by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir was handed over to Badsha.
