Bangladesh again shaken by earthquake
An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale was felt again across the country. This mild earthquake was felt at 9:40 pm on Thursday (June 11).
According to the EMSC or European Mediterranean Seismological Center, the epicenter of the earthquake was in Silchar, India, bordering Karimganj in Sylhet, and its depth was 10 kilometers below the surface.
As a result, tremors were reported in some areas of Sylhet, Mymensingh and the capital Dhaka. However, no immediate information was available about damage.
Earlier, on Sunday (June 7), around 11:37 pm, a powerful earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale shook the entire country. The epicenter of that earthquake was in neighboring Bhutan.
