Bangladesh condemns Israeli strikes in Lebanon
Bangladesh has strongly condemned recent Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon that resulted in civilian casualties, warning the attacks could undermine ongoing efforts to restore regional peace and stability.
In a statement issued on Saturday (April 11), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed deep concern over the loss of lives and injuries caused by the strikes.
The government also denounced the killing of Bangladeshi national Dipali in an airstrike in Beirut, describing the incident as tragic. It extended heartfelt condolences to her family and assured them of full support during this difficult time.
The Bangladesh Embassy in Beirut is maintaining close contact with the victim’s family and is working to repatriate the body at the earliest possible time, subject to the situation on the ground, the statement added.
