Bangladesh embassy issues special alert for nationals in Qatar
The Bangladesh Embassy in Doha has urged all expatriate Bangladeshi citizens in Qatar to exercise special caution in light of the situation arising from the Iran-Israel war.
In an emergency notice issued on Saturday, February 28, the Bangladesh Embassy in Doha stated that for security reasons, all are requested to stay away from military installations and remain in their respective residences or safe places. Until the danger subsides, everyone is urged not to go out unless absolutely necessary.
The notice further said that considering the situation, essential items including cash, Qatar ID, health card, necessary medicines, mobile chargers and dry food should always be kept with oneself.
Everyone is requested to respect Qatari law and act according to the statements and instructions of the Qatari government. Uploading pictures or videos related to this matter on social media is contrary to the existing laws of Qatar. Therefore, everyone is urged to be careful in using social media as well.
