The notice said that at the current session of the Governing Body, the Bangladesh Permanent Mission raised the demand to start a process to change the list of countries that have been enjoying various rights, including voting rights, in the organization for the past 43 years without being elected as permanent members. In view of Bangladesh's demand, 74 out of 187 ILO countries supported Bangladesh's demand in Thursday's session. After long discussions, this proposal of Bangladesh was accepted with the consent of the employers' side, the workers' side and all governments.
