Bangladesh not a test-tube or laboratory: Fakhrul
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said that after the devastation caused by Hasina, Bangladesh can no longer endure experiments. “This country is not a test tube or a laboratory,” he said.
He made the remarks in a Facebook post on Thursday, September 25.
In the post, Fakhrul wrote, “BNP has delivered before and can do so again. We have experience and a history of success. Bangladesh wants tested leadership. BNP is ready to restore stability, dignity, and progress. This is BNP’s time.”
Raising the question of what BNP is offering, Fakhrul himself answered: “Constitutional reform, restoration of justice, respect for public opinion. Only free and fair elections — real results. Power belongs to the people. Two terms are enough — an end to clinging to lifelong power. Restore the voice of MPs — not just voting, but the right to opinions. Paper ballots are the solution — safe, simple, and honest elections. A genuine administration that works for the people.”
