The Bangladesh Police has transferred 18 officers in the ranks of Additional IGP, DIG, and&nbsp; Superintendent of Police. The Police-1 branch of the Ministry of Home Affairs issued a notification on Tuesday (March 4) regarding the transfers. The notification was signed by Md. Mahbubur Rahman, Additional Secretary of the Police-1 branch of the Ministry of Home Affairs, on behalf of the President's order. The transfer list includes three Additional Inspectors General of Police (Additional IGP), seven DIGs, and eight Superintendents of Police. The notification also states that the order, issued in the public interest, will take effect immediately.

বাংলাদেশ পুলিশের অতিরিক্ত আইজিপি, ডিআইজি এবং পুলিশ সুপার পদমর্যাদার ১৮ জন কর্মকর্তাকে বদলি করা হয়েছে। রাষ্ট্রপতির আদেশে মঙ্গলবার (৪ মার্চ) স্বরাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয়ের জননিরাপত্তা বিভাগের (পুলিশ-১ শাখা) উপসচিব মো. মাহবুবুর রহমান স্বাক্ষরিত এক প্রজ্ঞাপনে তাদের বদলির বিষয়টি জানানো হয়। বদলি হওয়া তিন অতিরিক্ত আইজিপির মধ্যে সিআইডি প্রধান মো. মতিউর রহমান শেখকে পুলিশ সদর দপ্তরে, রাজশাহী সারদার প্রিন্সিপাল (অতিরিক্ত আইজিপি) মো. মাসুদুর রহমান ভূঁঞাকে পুলিশ সদর দপ্তরে এবং অ্যান্টি টেরোরিজম ইউনিটের (এটিইউ) প্রধান খোন্দকার রফিকুল ইসলামকে পুলিশ সদর দপ্তরে বদলি করা হয়েছে। এছাড়া ৭ ডিআইজি ও ৮ পুলিশ সুপারকে বিভিন্ন ইউনিটে বদলি করা হয়। প্রজ্ঞাপনে আরও বলা হয়েছে, জনস্বার্থে জারি করা এ আদেশ অবিলম্বে কার্যকর হবে।
