Bangladesh Police unveils new logo

Bangladesh Police has finalised a new official logo, replacing the existing monogram as part of a rebranding initiative.

The new design incorporates key national elements including the country’s national flower — the lotus — along with rice and wheat ears, and jute leaves. The word "Police" is prominently displayed on the jute leaves in bold lettering.

The development was confirmed in a letter issued by Additional DIG (Logistics) of Police Headquarters, Nasima Begum, on Thursday (April 10).

According to the letter, the newly designed logo has already received official approval and is awaiting the formal notification for its nationwide rollout.

Once the notification is issued, use of the new logo will be made mandatory across all districts and units of the police force. Preparations are underway to update all relevant materials, including uniforms, flags, signage, and official documents, to reflect the new identity.

Officials have indicated that the entire police force will adopt the new logo simultaneously in the near future.
