Bangladesh received $1.49 billion in remittance in 24 days

Bangladesh received $1.49 billion inward remittance in 24 days of November, showing a slight increase in expatriate income flow, according to a Bangladesh Bank source.

According to the data of the Central Bank, in the first 24 days of November, the expatriate income is 62.22 million US dollars per day. In the same period last year, daily expatriate income was 50 million dollars. In October of this year, 60 million dollars came every day.

Data analysis shows that on November 24, 100 million dollars came through the state-owned commercial banks; 40 million came through Krishi Bank; 1.34 billion dollars came through private commercial banks and 4,550,000 dollars through foreign commercial banks operating in the country.
