Bangladeshis can renew visas from outside Bahrain

Due to the ongoing war situation in the Middle East, Bangladeshi expatriates will be able to renew their visas from outside Bahrain. As a result, expatriates who are staying outside Bahrain for various reasons will also get the opportunity to renew their visas through the prescribed process.

The Bangladesh Embassy in Manama announced this in a notification on Wednesday (March 11).

The notification said that expatriates whose visas are under LMRA can submit the necessary documents to any of the LMRA registration centers for visa renewal through a known relative or friend staying in Bahrain. After that, they will have to apply for visa renewal as per the rules.

In this case, of course, they will have to contact the office concerned at least two weeks before the expiry of the visa.

The embassy said that those whose visas are under CR or a company should contact their respective sponsor or the authorities of the company concerned and apply for visa renewal. In that case, the application must be made at least two weeks before the visa expires.

After applying, if anyone pays the prescribed fee immediately after receiving the payment message, the visa renewal will be completed. However, it has been warned that the visa cannot be allowed to expire under any circumstances.
