He made these remarks while speaking to journalists after arriving to cast his vote at the Eskaton Garden High School centre in the capital on Thursday morning, February 12.

The CEC said, "Yesterday I spoke with many district administrators and SPs across the country. I told them they cannot work in favour of anyone. They must work impartially. It is not enough to be impartial yourself; you must ensure everyone around you is also impartial. The Divisional Commissioner is here and can bear witness to this."

"We are facing a major challenge with fake videos and AI-generated images on social media. Even if we wanted to, not everything can be controlled. Much of it originates from across the border. As a result, we rely on mainstream media. I hope the public will also verify truth from falsehood before sharing information."

It is to be noted that Dhaka-8 constituency has a total of 2,75,471 voters. Among them, 1,52,795 are male voters and 1,22,675 are female voters.
