All banks involved in Hajj-related transactions will remain open next Saturday (October 11) to facilitate the deposit of Hajj registration fees, Bangladesh Bank announced on Monday (October 6). Additionally, on Sunday (October 12), banks will continue accepting deposits beyond regular transaction hours. The central bank’s circular instructed all branches handling Hajj payments to ensure adequate security and smooth operations during the extended service hours.

হজ কার্যক্রমের সঙ্গে যুক্ত সব ব্যাংকের শাখা আগামী শনিবার (১১ অক্টোবর) খোলা থাকবে বলে জানিয়েছে বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংক। পাশাপাশি রোববারও (১২ অক্টোবর) ব্যাংকের লেনদেন সময়ের পরও হজের টাকা নেয়া যাবে। সোমবার (৬ অক্টোবর) এ বিষয়ে সব ব্যাংকের নির্বাহীদের নির্দেশনা পাঠানো হয়েছে। ২০২৬ সালের হজ নিবন্ধনের অর্থ জমাদানের সুবিধার্থে এই সিদ্ধান্ত নেয়া হয়েছে। নির্দেশনায় আরও বলা হয়েছে, হজের অর্থ গ্রহণের সময় ব্যাংকের সংশ্লিষ্ট শাখাগুলোতে পর্যাপ্ত নিরাপত্তার ব্যবস্থা নিশ্চিত করতে হবে।
