The results were released on Friday (June 12) through the official website of the Bangladesh Bar Council.
According to the Bar Council, a total of 37,080 candidates had applied for this year's enrolment examination. Those who passed the MCQ test will now be eligible to sit for the written examination, the second stage of the enrolment process.
To obtain enrolment as an advocate and gain the right to practise law, candidates must successfully clear three stages of examination — MCQ, written and viva voce.
Under the existing rules, candidates who pass the written examination become eligible to appear directly in the viva voce examination on up to three occasions.
The Bar Council's Enrolment Committee oversees the enrolment process and is responsible for formulating policies, decisions and guidelines related to the examinations.
