Barrister Fuad faces public outrage in his own constituency

Barrister Asaduzzaman Fuad, secretary general of Amar Bangladesh (AB) Party, faced public anger when he visited his own constituency. Around 1 pm on Sunday, locals surrounded him and chanted “fake, fake”.

The incident occurred during the foundation-stone laying ceremony of the Mirganj Bridge over the Arial Khan river on the Rahmatpur–Babuganj–Muladi–Hizla road. At the event, Fuad claimed that work on the bridge had been halted because locals demanded extortion money. Immediately after his statement, agitated residents began chanting slogans.

As the situation escalated, Barrister Fuad quickly entered his vehicle and left the area.
