The government is reducing the BCS exam application fee from 700 taka to 200 taka. Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration announced this after the meeting of the Secretary Committee held at the Secretariat on Wednesday (December 04). The Senior Secretary said that a maximum of 200 taka can be charged for job applications in government, semi-government, bank and insurance institutions. BCS viva will be held at 100 marks instead of 200 marks. He also said that a notification in this regard will be issued within a week.

বিসিএস পরীক্ষার আবেদন ফি ৭০০ টাকা থেকে কমিয়ে ২০০ টাকা নির্ধারণ করছে সরকার। বুধবার (৪ ডিসেম্বর) সচিবালয়ে অনুষ্ঠিত সচিব কমিটির সভা শেষে জনপ্রশাসন মন্ত্রণালয়ের সিনিয়র সচিব এ কথা জানান। সিনিয়র সচিব জানান, সরকারি, আধা সরকারি, ব্যাংক এবং বীমা প্রতিষ্ঠানে চাকরির আবেদনে সর্বোচ্চ ২০০ টাকা পর্যন্ত নিতে পারবে। বিসিএস ভাইভা ২০০ নম্বরের জায়গায় ১০০ নম্বরে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। এক সপ্তাহের মধ্যে এ সংক্রান্ত প্রজ্ঞাপন জারি করা হবে বলেও জানান তিনি।
