Berger paints clarifies reports involving CFO Sajjad Rahim

Berger Paints Bangladesh Ltd. has issued an official statement following media reports linking its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Sajjad Rahim Chowdhury to a loan default case involving a financial institution.

The company clarified that the issue relates to a period when Mr. Chowdhury held a senior leadership position at a different telecom organization. “It is neither a personal case against him nor has Berger Paints Bangladesh any involvement in the matter,” the statement read.

Reaffirming its commitment to financial integrity, transparency, and ethical practices, Berger said no allegations of financial irregularities exist within the company.

It also urged stakeholders and the public to rely on verified information and avoid speculation, expressing gratitude to shareholders, employees, and customers for their continued trust and support.
