Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay has made a transit stopover of nearly an hour in Bangladesh. He was welcomed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Friday, September 18, by Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan and State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humayun Kabir. During this time, the Bhutanese Prime Minister and the Bangladeshi representatives exchanged brief courtesies at the airport. Later, after the scheduled time, Tshering Tobgay left Dhaka for his destination.

ভুটানের প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেরিং তোবগে বাংলাদেশে পৌনে এক ঘণ্টার ট্রানজিটে যাত্রাবিরতি করেছেন। শুক্রবার (১৮ সেপ্টেম্বর) হযরত শাহজালাল আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দরে তাকে স্বাগত জানান স্থানীয় সরকার, পল্লী উন্নয়ন ও সমবায়মন্ত্রী ড. আব্দুল মঈন খান এবং পররাষ্ট্র প্রতিমন্ত্রী হুমায়ুন কবির। এ সময় বিমানবন্দরে ভুটানের প্রধানমন্ত্রীর সঙ্গে বাংলাদেশের প্রতিনিধিরা সংক্ষিপ্ত সৌজন্য বিনিময় করেন। পরে নির্ধারিত সময় শেষে শেরিং তোবগে তার গন্তব্যের উদ্দেশে ঢাকা ত্যাগ করেন।
