Biman reschedules 2 cancelled flights
State-owned airline Biman Bangladesh Airlines has announced new schedules for two flights that were cancelled due to the war situation in the Middle East on Saturday.
In a press release on Sunday, The company said that the BG-337 flight from Dhaka to Medina was cancelled on Saturday. The flight will depart for Medina at 4pm as per the new schedule on Sunday.
In addition, the BG-335 flight from Dhaka to Jeddah, which was cancelled on the same day, will depart at 7pm on Sunday.
The airline authorities have requested passengers to be at the airport as per the scheduled time.
Hundreds of passengers were in trouble as several flights were suddenly cancelled due to the war situation in the Middle East on Saturday. Many were stranded at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.
Earlier, Biman Bangladesh Airlines had said that due to the security situation, all Biman flights to various destinations in the Middle East including Dammam, Jeddah, Medina, Riyadh, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Kuwait have been temporarily suspended until further notice. However, a day later, it was announced that flights would resume on two routes.
