Biswa Zaker Ijtema, Urs Sharif at Kutubbagh Darbar to begin Thursday

The annual holy Urs and Biswa Zaker Ijtema at Kutubbagh Darbar Sharif in capital's Farmgate will commence on Thursday (January 30) at the nearby T&T field.

The Darbar Sharif grounds are currently crowded with thousands of devotees and followers from across Bangladesh and abroad.

The two-day Urs Sharif will feature dhikr and worship. Renowned scholars and religious leaders from both Bangladesh and abroad will present discussions on Sharia, Tariqat, Haqiqat, and Marifat, all grounded in the teachings of the Quran, Hadith, Ijma, and Qiyas.

On Friday (January 31), before the jummah prayer, the Pir and Murshid of the Darbar, Shah Sufi Hazrat Syed Zakir Shah Naqshbandi Mujaddedi Kutubbagi, will deliver a special sermon. Following the prayer, he will lead the final prayer (Akhiri Munaajat) for the well-being of Bangladesh and the world.
