BNP expels 8 'rebels' in Rajshahi division
BNP has expelled eight 'rebels' in Rajshahi division. The party expelled them for engaging in activities against party policy, ideology and discipline.
The matter was announced in a press release signed by BNP Senior Joint Convener Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Wednesday.
The press release said that they have been expelled from all posts, including primary membership.
The expelled are - Naogaon-3 constituency candidate Mahadevpur Upazila BNP member Parvez Arefin Siddiqui Johnny, Natore-1 constituency candidate Taiful Islam Tipu, party's central committee's joint office secretary, and district BNP member Dr. Yasir Arshad Rajan, Natore-3 constituency candidate and District BNP Joint Convener Daudar Mahmud, Rajshahi-5 constituency candidate and Puthia Upazila BNP member Isfa Khairul Haque Shimul, London Zia Parishad Vice President Rezaul Karim, Pabna-3 constituency candidate National Executive Committee member AKM Anwarul Islam, and Pabna-4 constituency candidate and District BNP former Joint General Secretary Zakaria Pintu.
