In a strategic move ahead of the upcoming electoral “tournament,” BNP leaders filed the nomination papers for party acting chairman Tarique Rahman in Bogura-6 constituency on Sunday (December 21). At 12:30pm, district BNP president Rezaul Karim Badsha submitted the papers to District Commissioner and Returning Officer Toufiqul Rahman, officially entering Tarique into the race. The filing squad featured top BNP officials, including Chairman’s Adviser Advocate Mahbubur Rahman, Central Executive Committee member GM Siraj, VP Saiful Islam, Zainal Abedin Chan, and district acting secretary Mosharraf Hossain, showing a united front as Tarique “takes the field” for the contest.&nbsp;
