BNP front organizations to hold youth rally Wednesday

BNP’s three front organizations — Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal, Jubo Dal, and Swechchhasebak Dal — will organize a “Rally for Establishing Youth Political Rights” at Nayapaltan on Wednesday, 28 May.

BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman will participate virtually as the chief guest. Several BNP Standing Committee members, including Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Dr. Abdul Moyeen Khan, Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, and Salahuddin Ahmed, are also expected to attend.

At a press conference held today at BNP’s central office in Nayapaltan, Swechchhasebak Dal President SM Jilani said that similar rallies in Chattogram, Khulna, and Bogura attracted large crowds.

“We expect 1.5 million young people to join the Dhaka rally, breaking all previous records,” he said.

Ahead of the rally, a seminar titled “Future Thoughts of Youth, Future Bangladesh” will be held on Tuesday, featuring youth representatives from Dhaka, Faridpur, Sylhet, and Mymensingh.
