BNP holds joint meeting to discuss political strategy

The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) convened a joint meeting on Tuesday (May 20) at its Chairperson’s political office in Gulshan, starting at 2 PM. The meeting was held to discuss the current political situation, organizational activities, and future plans.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir joined the meeting virtually.

Key party figures in attendance included Joint Secretaries General Khairul Kabir Khokon and Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie; Dhaka South Metropolitan Convenor Rafiqul Alam Majnu; Member Secretary Tanvir Ahmed Robin; Women’s Wing General Secretary Sultana Ahmed; Jubo Dal President Abdul Monayem Munna and General Secretary Nur Islam Nayan; Volunteer Wing General Secretary Rajib Ahsan; Chhatra Dal General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir; Dhaka North Metropolitan BNP Member Secretary Mostafa Zaman; and Ulama Dal representative Maulana Selim Reza. Leaders from several affiliated organizations were also present.

Party sources indicate that the discussions focused on evaluating the evolving political landscape and outlining the BNP’s next course of action.
