BNP issues strict directives to prevent infiltration
The BNP has issued strict directives to prevent infiltrations from other political parties and non-political individuals into the party during the formation of various committees.
This directive was conveyed in a press release signed by BNP's Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Thursday (Januart 9).
At no level of the committees of BNP and its associate bodies-- from ward to the national levels -- should members of any other political party or non-political individuals be included, Rizvi stated in the press release.
He also expressed concerns that members of various political organisations affiliated with the ousted Awami League are attempting to infiltrate the BNP and its affiliate and associate organisations.
"For instance, a group called 'Zia Cyber Force' has recently announced a committee at Pabna University of Science and Technology under the banner of BNP's student wing, Chhatra Dal, including several leaders of Chhatra League. This is entirely fraudulent. Similarly, collaborators of the autocratic regime are engaging in such deceptive activities," the release read, calling on leaders at all levels of the party to remain vigilant and cautious about this issue.
All leaders and activists of the BNP and its affiliate and associate organisations were urged to strictly adhere to this directive.
