BNP pledges support for July warriors, families of martyrs if elected

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has pledged that the state will take full responsibility for the families of those killed and injured during the July uprising if the BNP comes to power.

Rizvi made the statement on Friday afternoon during a visit to the family of martyr Arman Molla in Meherpara, Narsingdi.

He said the “Amra BNP Poribar” initiative has committed to fully support Arman Molla’s family.

Criticizing the interim government, Rizvi stated, “It is the duty of this government and the state to stand by the families of the martyrs. However, the current administration has completely failed in this regard.”

He also questioned the government’s negligence, asking, “Why is there a lack of proper records? Why do they not have a complete list of those who were killed?”

During the visit, Rizvi provided financial assistance to Arman Molla’s family.

Members of the “Amra BNP Poribar” initiative, including Member Secretary Mokhlesur Rahman Mithun, along with local BNP leaders and activists, were present.
