BNP to meet Dr. Yunus at noon
A delegation from BNP will meet Dr Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Adviser of the Interim Government, to discuss various important issues, including the upcoming elections. The meeting will take place at 12pm on Wednesday (April 16) at the State Guest House, Jamuna.
BNP's Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and several top leaders from the party will attend the meeting, according to BNP Chairperson's Press Wing.
Earlier, BNP requested an appointment with Dr. Yunus to discuss a clear electoral roadmap to be announced by December this year. This was confirmed by Salahuddin Ahmed, a member of BNP's Standing Committee.
He said, "BNP has requested time to meet with Dr. Yunus to discuss issues related to elections. The party will make further decisions after the discussion with Dr. Yunus."
He also mentioned that it is essential to announce a clear and timely roadmap to resolve the ongoing uncertainty and confusion about the elections.
Additionally, BNP will meet with the National Consensus Commission on Thursday (April 17) at 3pm.
