BNP welcomes election roadmap as timely and promising

BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed has stated that the recently announced roadmap for the 13th National Parliamentary Election has fulfilled the nation's expectations. He described the move as timely and welcomed it as a positive development for the country’s democratic process.

Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Salahuddin said, “The roadmap has been announced at the right time. Our expectation now is that the national election will be held in accordance with this plan.” He also noted that the government had earlier issued similar directives regarding the election schedule.

The Election Commission (EC) unveiled the detailed roadmap on Thursday at its media center in the capital. Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed presented the plan, which outlines 24 key action points leading up to the election.
