Noting that those who have not learned from the history – whether today or tomorrow – will be lost, poet, philosopher and statesman Farhad Mazhar said that the downfall of the BNP has started since it stopped listening to us.

However, at this time, praising BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, he said that the July uprising would never have been successful if Khaleda Zia had not been uncompromisingly against the then government.

He said these things at a discussion titled 'What the youth can do in Bangladesh after the July Revolution' organized by the anti-discrimination student movement at the Jessore Shilpakala Academy auditorium on Saturday.

Claiming that the current government is an elected government, he said, Dr. Yunus was installed through a mass uprising. He was elected with blood. So, is vote important or blood important?

At that time, he claimed that the 1972 constitution was the constitution of Pakistan and said that it was done to hand over Bangladesh to Delhi.
