Border patrol, surveillance increase to prevent fleeing country

The Border Guard of Bangladesh (BGB) has increased patrolling and intelligence surveillance on the border so that the corrupt and miscreants cannot escape from the country.

They have already arrested four people from different borders of the country.

According to a BGB press release of on Wednesday (August 7) night, some corrupt and miscreants are trying to flee the country after the victory of student movement in the country. In this situation, so that no one can escape from the country, BGB patrols and intelligence surveillance have been increased at the border.

The release also said that after increasing patrolling and intelligence activities of BGB at the border, one person has already been arrested from Sonamsjid area of Chapainawabganj, one from Benapole of Jashore and two from Darshana of Chuadanga.

BGB has requested people’s assistance by calling 01769-600682 and 01769-620954 to prevent escape through the border.
