Traffic police in Chuadanga have fined four motorcycle riders a total of Tk 85,000 during a crackdown on a motorcycle rally organized by supporters of Brazil's national football team.

The operation was conducted as Brazil fans organized a motorcycle procession from the Chuadanga Town Football Ground on Sunday afternoon (May 31).

According to traffic police, participants were revving motorcycles with modified or missing silencers, creating excessive noise before the rally began. Police intervened and launched an operation at the venue.

During the drive, officers seized four motorcycles for operating without silencers and for violations related to driving licences. The riders were later fined a total of Tk 85,000 in four separate cases.

A senior official of the district traffic police confirmed the matter, saying the riders had been causing public inconvenience through excessive noise generated by silencer-free motorcycles. The official also noted that the riders did not possess valid driving licences.

The motorcycles were impounded and legal action was taken in accordance with traffic regulations, the official added.
