BTRC offers nationwide 1GB free net to honour July Movement today

To commemorate the historic July Movement, the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has directed all mobile operators to provide 1 GB of free internet to their subscribers today (Thursday).

The data will be valid for five days from activation.

This initiative is part of the government-declared 'July Remembrance Week', aimed at honoring the spirit of the popular movement. The BTRC issued the instruction to operators on July 9, emphasizing the move as a tribute to the nation's mobile users.

To access the free internet, users must activate it by dialing a designated code assigned by their mobile operator. Grameenphone users can activate the data by dialing *121*1807#, Robi users by dialing *4*1807#, Banglalink users by dialing *121*1807#, and Teletalk users by dialing *111*1807#.
