Bus catches fire in Chattogram’s New Market area

A bus caught fire suddenly in the New Market area of Chattogram city on Sunday evening, causing panic in the vicinity.

The incident occurred around 6:30 PM on July 20. According to the Chattogram Fire Service control room, they received the fire alert at approximately 6:45 PM. In response, a unit from the Nandankanan Fire Station promptly arrived at the scene and began efforts to bring the blaze under control.

As of now, the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage remain unknown. Fire service officials have stated that further investigation is underway.

No casualties have been reported so far.
