Bus workers block Sayedabad station
Bus workers have blocked Sayedabad bus station in the capital, demanding the reversal of a decision to limit passenger pick-up and drop-off to designated counters.
The protest, which began around on Monday noon (February 10), has resulted in severe traffic congestion on the Sayedabad-Jatrabari road.
Around 10:30am, bus workers started gathering at the junction, and by the time the protest began, about 100 workers had assembled. They blocked the road, halting vehicle movement and causing significant traffic disruptions in the area.
The workers are also demanding the withdrawal of the new regulations affecting their operations.
