CA directs urgent digitisation of four ministries, organisations
Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus has directed the rapid digitisation of daily operations and citizen services for four key ministries and organisations on a priority basis.
These include the Ministry of Land, the National Board of Revenue (NBR), the Ministry of Commerce, and the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA).
The Chief Adviser shared the instructions on his verified Facebook page on Saturday night (March 8), detailing plans to automate internal processes, ensure 100% electronic file usage, implement full ERP, and introduce a digital signature system.
He also emphasized the need for data interoperability to streamline service delivery and replace manual procedures with secure API-based data exchanges.
Special Assistant Faiz Ahmed Tayyab confirmed efforts to implement a pilot programme for these ministries within three months.
