CA for seeking embassies’ help in sending injured persons of July-August abroad
Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus has suggested seeking assistance from embassies in sending abroad those injured in the July-August revolution for better treatment.
"Assistance can be sought from the embassies for those who were critically injured by preparing their detailed medical history reports," he said while speaking at a meeting of the July Shaheed Srimiti Foundation at the State Guest House Jamuna in Dhaka on Monday, reports BSS.
Prof Yunus said many officials from various embassies, who were in Bangladesh during the month of July and August, have sympathy for the injured ones.
"They will surely help us in this regard," the chief adviser's press wing said quoting Prof Yunus as saying.
He suggested preparing detailed medical history reports of the injured persons as soon as possible.
Presided over by Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus, the meeting was attended, among others, by Health Adviser Nurjahan Begum, Social Welfare Adviser Sharmin S Murshid, July Shaheed Smriti Foundation Chief Executive Mir Mahbubur Rahman Snigdha and its General Secretary Sarjis Alam.
