CA honours four organisations, individuals at Investment Summit 2025

At the Investment Summit 2025, three organisations were awarded for their contributions to the country’s investment landscape, and one foreign citizen was granted honourary citizenship.

The awards were presented by Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus at the Intercontinental Hotel in the capital on Wednesday (April 9).

The summit, organised by the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), began on April 7, with today marking the main opening session.

The awardees include Walton (for domestic investment), mobile banking service bKash (for foreign investment), and Square Pharmaceuticals (in the ESG category).

Additionally, Kihak Sung, founder of the Korean EPZ in Chattogram, chairman of Youngone Corporation, and the largest foreign investor in Bangladesh, was honored with honorary citizenship in the special category.
