CA joins Rohingya conference in Cox’s Bazar

Chief Adviser (CA) Dr. Muhammad Yunus arrived in Cox’s Bazar on Monday morning (August 25) to attend the international conference on the Rohingya crisis. He landed at Cox’s Bazar Airport around 10am.

The three-day conference, titled "Take Away to the High-Level Conference on the Rohingya Situation," began on Sunday at Hotel Baywatch in Inani, Ukhia.

Organized jointly by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Office of the High Representative for Rohingya Issues, the conference brings together representatives from 40 countries and key international organizations, including the United Nations.

The conference will focus on key issues such as Rohingya repatriation, international funding, genocide trials, food aid, and ways to boost the morale of the displaced population.

On the final day, Tuesday (August 26), foreign delegates will visit the Rohingya camps.
