He departed from Leonardo da Vinci Rome Fiumicino Airport around 9:30 am (1:30 pm Bangladesh Standard Time).

After concluding his four-day visit to Qatar on Friday (April 25), the Chief Adviser flew directly to Rome to pay his last respects to his longtime friend, Pope Francis.

In addition, Uruguay's Foreign Minister Mario Lubetkin visited Professor Yunus at his hotel.

During his four-day visit to Qatar, Professor Yunus spoke at the Earthna Summit in Doha.
