CA Yunus extends greetings on Armed Forces Day 2025

Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus has extended his greetings to all members of the Army, Navy, and Air Force on the occasion of Armed Forces Day 2025.

In a message issued ahead of the observance on 21 November, he paid tribute to the armed forces personnel and all freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives during Bangladesh’s Liberation War.

He recalled their leadership in the initial resistance and coordinated counterattacks against the occupying forces, culminating in victory on 16 December.

Dr. Yunus also thanked the armed forces for their tireless support over the past 15 months in maintaining law and order, assisting civil administration, disaster response, and ensuring security in industrial and public sectors.

He expressed confidence that the armed forces will continue to work alongside the people to safeguard national sovereignty and foster communal harmony, while wishing success to all programs organised for Armed Forces Day 2025.
