CA Yunus sends Independence Day greetings to Trump

Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus has extended greetings to US President Donald Trump and the American people on the occasion of the United States’ Independence Day.

In a letter to President Trump marking the 249th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, Yunus expressed warm wishes and underscored the shared democratic values between Bangladesh and the United States.

“I would like to congratulate you and the friendly people of your great country on this auspicious occasion,” the chief adviser wrote.

He noted the long-standing partnership between the two nations, highlighting cooperation in various fields over the past five decades.

“Our bilateral engagements have flourished beyond trade, investment, and development cooperation to include education, science and technology, climate change, and peace and security,” the letter stated.

Yunus reaffirmed Bangladesh’s commitment to strengthening ties with the US and expressed optimism about further deepening the partnership.

He concluded by wishing President Trump and the American people continued peace, prosperity, and good health.
