CA Yunus to address World Leaders Action Summit at COP29 this afternoon

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus will address the Opening Session of the World Leaders Climate Action Summit at the Conference of the Parties-29 (COP29), Wednesday.

“The Chief Adviser will deliver his speech at the Opening Session of the World Leaders Climate Action Summit at COP29 expectedly between 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm (Bangladesh time) today,” the chief adviser’s press wing said.

The COP29 began in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, yesterday. Prof Yunus is now on a four-day tour to Baku to join the climate meet.

Besides, Chief Adviser Prof Yunus passed a busy day at the opening day of the COP29 in Baku On Tuesday.

The Bangladesh interim government chief and the 2006 Nobel Peace Laureate met at least 20 top leaders of different countries across the globe and heads of international agencies, according to a message received here.

The Chief Adviser arrived in Baku by a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight around 5:15 pm Monday.
