CAAB Chairman removed from post
The government has removed Air Vice Marshal Md Manjur Kabir Bhuiyan from his position as Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB).
This development has been confirmed through an official notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Thursday (June 26).
However, the government has not provided an official reason for the decision.
Bhuiyan is currently in Cox’s Bazar and has yet to issue a public statement regarding the development.
Air Vice Marshal Bhuiyan, a senior official from the Bangladesh Air Force, had been serving as the chief of CAAB, the regulatory body overseeing civil aviation operations, safety, infrastructure, and airport management across the country.
