Car catches fire in petrol bomb attack at public works office in Gopalganj

Unidentified miscreants hurled several petrol bombs at the Public Works Department office in Gopalganj during the lockdown called by the banned Awami League.

The attack took place early Thursday morning (November 13), confirmed by security personnel Abdul Rahim.

A car parked inside the office compound caught fire but was later extinguished by staff, sustaining damage.

Gopalganj Sadar police sub-inspector Faizur Rahman said an unexploded petrol bomb was recovered and a legal investigation is ongoing.
