Alongside BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman’s return to Bangladesh after 17 years, Dhaka has welcomed another celebrity, Zebu, the much-talked-about fluffy cat that went viral online. The Biman Bangladesh Airlines Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner flight BG-202 carrying Zebu landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at around 11.45am on Thursday, December 25. Zebu is the beloved pet Siberian cat of barrister Zaima Rahman. BNP’s CGT team chief Saimum Parvez confirmed the information. The official social media debut of Zebu, the family’s pet cat, took place just a few hours before Tarique Rahman’s return to the country.
