Chhatra Dal VP candidate casts vote in JUCSU election

Sheikh Sadi Hasan, the vice president (VP) candidate supported by the Student League panel, exercised his voting right in the Jahangirnagar University Central Student Union (JUCSU) election on Thursday morning.

At around 10 a.m., Sheikh Sadi Hasan stood in line and casted his vote at Mir Mosharraf Hossain Hall on campus.

The Chhatra Dal panel includes a diverse group of candidates vying for various positions: Tanzila Hosain Boishakhi for General Secretary (GS), Sajjadul Islam for Assistant General Secretary (AGS) (Male), and Anjuman Ara Ikra for AGS (Female). Other candidates are Yamin Hawladar for Education and Research Secretary, Likhan Chandra Roy for Environment and Nature Conservation Secretary, Zahid Hasan Khan for Literature and Publication Secretary, Abidur Rahman for Cultural Secretary, and Parvez Hasan Nishan for Assistant Cultural Secretary.

Aminul Islam is contesting for Drama Secretary, while Touhidur Rahman Khan is running for Social Service and Human Resource Development Secretary. The Assistant Social Service positions are contested by Shakil Sardar (Male) and Kazi Mousumi Afroze (Female). Ujjal Hasan is the candidate for Sports Secretary.

Other panel members include Ruhul Amin Sweet and Mst. Shahnaz Parvin Shanu for Assistant Sports (Male and Female, respectively), Zahirul Islam for Transport and Communication Secretary, and Mominul Islam for Health and Food Security Secretary.

The panel's executive committee comprises Sumaiya Sultana Chia, Happy Akter Shila, and Shayla Sabrin Nijhum among the female members, while Hamidullah Salman, Mehedi Hasan, and AM Rafidullah represent the male members.
