Chief Adviser is not stepping down: Planning Adviser

Planning Adviser Wahiduddin Mahmud said, "The Chief Adviser never said he would step down. He is definitely staying. We have been entrusted with an important responsibility, and we cannot walk away from it."

A meeting of the Advisory Council commenced at 12:20pm on Saturday (24 May) at the NEC Conference Room in capital's Sher-e-Bangla Nagar.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Planning Adviser Dr. Wahiduddin Mahmud shared these remarks.

The meeting was presided over by Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus, with 19 advisers in attendance.
