Chief Adviser (CA) Dr. Muhammad Yunus met with the family of Osman Hadi, spokesperson of the Inqilab Mancha and a potential independent candidate for Dhaka-8, at the State Guesthouse in Jamuna today (December 13).

During the meeting, the Chief Adviser assured that the government is taking all necessary measures to ensure Hadi receives the best medical care. He said, “The entire nation is praying for him. If his condition requires treatment abroad, the government will make the arrangements.”

Masuma, Hadi’s sister, remembered her brother as a patriotic and revolutionary-minded individual from a young age. “He loved reciting rebellious poetry and had a 10-month-old child. Hadi is our backbone. He has many works left to do, and he must survive; otherwise, the nation’s independence and sovereignty could be at risk,” she said.

Abdullah Al Jaber, a leader of Inqilab Mancha, added, “After 5 August, many returned home, but Osman Hadi did not. He embraced the July Revolution and worked tirelessly for it. Those responsible for the attack will be questioned based on previous cases.”

The Chief Adviser further stated, “The full network behind this brutal incident will be identified and brought to justice. Law enforcement agencies are actively working to apprehend the culprits as quickly as possible, and a full investigation has already been ordered.”

Law Adviser Asif Nazrul, Environment, Forest and Climate Adviser Rizwana Hasan, Industry Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan, and National Security Adviser Khalilur Rahman were also present at the meeting.
